400L Lasu Student, Chinyere Ezeala, Found Dead in Lover's House in Ejigbo

A final year student of the Lagos State University, Ojo, Chinyere Ezeala, 27, has been found dead in her lover’s room at Ejigbo, Lagos, southwest Nigeria after a marathon sex.

The police at Ejigbo alleged that the 400-Level student was found dead on Friday on her lover’s bed at 36, Fayemi Street, Ejigbo, Lagos. She was found wearing a wrapper.

Her boyfriend, Ifeanyi Sunday, who works at the Apapa wharf allegedly reported her death to the police the following morning and was arrested....

Police sources at the station confirmed that the corpse had been taken to the Isolo General Hospital for autopsy.

“We cannot for now ascertain the cause of death. Until the autopsy report is out, nobody can say categorically what killed her. We have just arrested her boyfriend and investigation is going on. We cannot rely on what people are saying about the cause of death. It is only the autopsy report that can disclose the cause of death,” the investigating police officer told P.M.NEWS when asked to comment on the insinuations that she died during a marathon sex with her boyfriend.

The family of the deceased are, however, insisting that Ifeanyi must marry the deceased according to Igbo tradition and perform the necessary rites. They claimed that she died while he was having sex with her. They also accused the suspect of sleeping with her without paying her bride price to the family.

“He should marry her now that she is dead as tradition demands,” a man who identified himself as an uncle to the deceased told the police.

P.M.NEWS gathered at the residence of the suspect that the late Chinyere was a regular visitor to Ifeanyi’s home every weekend to spend days before leaving for school.

On the day of the incident, a neighbour who identified herself as Rose told P.M.NEWS that the late Chinyere visited and slept with Ifeanyi and was found dead the next day. “Ifeanyi went to the police station and reported what happened. He was arrested and brought to the house. The body was later taken to the hospital by the policemen,” she explained. When P M NEWS visited Ejigbo Police Station, the divisional police officer, DPO, CSP Benjamin Olanrewaju Adeola was not around to comment on the incident but sources at the station confirmed it.

WHY DO PEOPLE HATE MONDAY'S?

There's a strange feeling that manifests itself on many people everywhere once a week. As Sunday draws to a close, they have a feeling of dread that the next day is approaching. , it leaves you feeling black and blue in the heart. No matter how much you hate Mondays, it will come and you can do nothing about it.

If you disdain Mondays, you are not alone. It affects millions of people worldwide. And it's nothing to do with the type of job you have: even people who hold rather "pleasant" jobs do not look forward to the approach of Monday either.

Why do people hate Mondays?

Different people have given me different answers, but generally, it boils down to one reason: Monday represents the sacrifice of personal freedom for the sake of financial survival. A day or two of rest puts us in Relax Mode, and we abhor the very thought that our Relax Mode is ending.

But why do we have to go to work on Monday anyway?

In order to keep the job.
In order to earn the salary.
In order to pay the bills.
In order to survive in today's society.

If you don't realize how silly that is, listen to this: When a person says he is looking for a job, I tell you, he isn't looking for a job. If you give him a job without a pay, do you think he will take it? No sir, what he is looking for, is the opportunity to trade his time and energy and skill in exchange for money. Why then, does a person say he is looking for a job, when in fact he is looking for regular money? Because society has conditioned him to accept that the only acceptable way of getting regular money is to trade his time, energy and skill for it.

If instead of a job, you offer him regular money, would he accept it? You bet he would! Unfortunately society doesn't work that way. In fact, society has us believing there is no such thing as regular money without a job. So much so that a jobless person is regarded with sympathy, if not contempt.

If you say everybody should accept his lot, go to work and bear with it, you are exhibiting herd mentality. If the whole village says the world is flat, do you accept that, or do you continue to believe that it is round? Just because everybody believes something or does something, doesn't mean it is the best thing to do. If it is, why do we hate Mondays, why do we look forward to public holidays, why do we wish our annual leave is longer? It's because humans are not made to work.


Do you love your job? If you say yes, would you be willing to hold the job without pay? If you can honestly say yes to that, then you are indeed filling your time doing something you are passionate about. You should continue doing it, whether or not it pays money. If, however, you don't love your job, or you love it but you wouldn't do it without pay, then you should seek to create a new stream of income so that one day you can either quit the job you hate, or work simply for the love of it. In either case, you should be working for the love of the work, not because you depend on it. Does that make sense?

Bomb Blast In Kaduna a Day After Northern 'Peace' Conference!

A bomb blast this Tuesday jolted Kaduna town around 9:30 am when two men on bike hurled a parcel containing bomb at Ogbomosho/ by Katsina Road in the heart of Kaduna town. Incidentally, today's attack is coming only a day after the Arewa Consultative Forum held a Northern Peace Conference in the same city of Kaduna where one of its top members suggested that one of the panaceas for peace in Nigeria is the banning of the Christian Association of Nigeria. Professor Jubril Aminu, who made this remark was silent on Boko Haram and other Islamic terrorists who
have been perpetuationg this attack....

The bomb killed more than ten people, and injured many.Human head was found about 100 meters away from the scene along with other heavy spare parts,and the houses around were also engulfed by fire...i think we still need to keep prayin for our dearly beloved motherland

Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court,  Thursday, has asked the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA,  to pay Nigerian comedy actor, Babatunde Omidina, commonly called Baba Suwe, N25 million  as compensation for unlawful detention and breach of right.
Baba Suwe who was granted bail November 4, had gone to court to seek redress over an alleged suspicion of ingesting substances believed to be hard drug and detention in the custody of NDLEA for 24 days.
